This directory contains CEDS air pollutant gridded emission files for the v_2021-02-05 system release with emissions from continental USA excluded. (USA contributions to aviation and international shipping are still included in this version as these are mapped to spatial grids on a global basis.) Known issues with the release can be found at the "issues" section of the project github site. The community is encouraged to report any issues found with the data there, or to contact Steve Smith at ssmith@pnnl.gov. v_2021-02-05 CEDS data release reference: http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4509372 The most recent journal paper associated with this data is: Hoesly, R. Contents: - Gridded emissions for SO2, NOx, BC, OC, NH3, NMVOC, CO, CO2, N2O in two chunks each (1950-1999 and 2000-2019) - Gridded emissions for CH4 in one chunk (1970-2019) - Gridded emissions for speciated VOCs in two chunks each (1950-1999 and 2000-2019) - For a mapping of iso codes to country names see: https://github.com/JGCRI/CEDS/blob/master/input/mappings/Master_Country_List.csv Note that country totals in these summary files do not include international shipping or aircraft emissions. International shipping and aircraft emissions are reported under the "global" iso. For further details see: https://github.com/JGCRI/CEDS including release notes and diagnostic graphics.
